SELF ASSESSMENT / PERSONAL TAX RETURNS
If you are self-employed and running your own business (including those of you employed by your own limited company), you will need to complete a tax return each year and submit this to Inland Revenue.
On your tax return you will need to give details of your earnings and your expenses to assess how much tax you need to pay. In order to do this you will need your completed business accounts for the year, together with details of all your earnings/income. We would be happy to complete your tax return for you as part of our service when we formulate your yearly accounts. It is crucial that your tax return be submitted in good time, or you could be liable for late filing penalties.
You will also need to complete a tax return even if you are not self-employed but have received one from Inland Revenue. This means that your tax affairs may be a little more involved, and Inland Revenue are not able to assess the tax you should pay from the PAYE system alone. On your tax return you will need to give details of your earnings, and any other income you have received (e.g. from your investments, from property rentals etc) to correctly assess your tax. Even though you are not running your own business, we can still help in completing and submitting your tax return for you.
Please give us a call for your FREE no obligation initial consultation (up to 1 hour), and we can discuss your requirements.
